Senior Video Producer
Gambit Strategies is a digital firm that specializes in persuading and mobilizing voters for Democratic campaigns and organizations. We’re looking for a Video Producer with a background in video production shoots to join our growing, highly collaborative creative team that is integral to our work.

You are passionate about producing quality creative content that is designed specifically for a variety of digital platforms. You think about all the parts that go into making digital-first creative from ideation through delivery including pre-production, production, and post. You are good at organizing and communicating feedback to team members and keeping projects on track. You are detail-oriented and committed to making assets that break through the clutter. You have been battle tested on countless shoots and know how to plan every detail of a shoot and keep it running on time and on budget. And you want to help elect Democrats and further progressive causes.
Job Responsibilities
Manage project timelines and budgets to ensure projects are on time and under budget
Organize, assign, and manage internal creative requests, prioritizing and re-prioritizing based on clients’ shifting needs
Support Gambit’s creative team and other cross-team projects by managing multiple simultaneous workloads, timelines, and project communications
Work with the Client Strategy and Creative teams to organize logistics including video shoot locations, schedules, equipment, contractors/crews, travel, and other pre production and post production tasks
Travel to production shoots for location scouting, line producing, etc
Manage and create shot lists, storyboards, schedules, permits, and other aspects of the pre-production process
Use established connections and relationships across the country to find the right crew for the right project
Receive and incorporate feedback from those leading the client work
Collaborate with the rest of the creative team to stay on top of current styles and best practices, and help our clients be digital trendsetters
QA videos, graphics, scripts, and other creative assets for grammar, punctuation, accuracy of edit completion, and finalizing videos such as removing watermarks from stock assets
Qualifications
At least 2-4 years of experience in a producer role, with a heavy focus on video shoots and post-production . Ideally experienced in political or advocacy work specifically.
Experience effectively managing creative processes in an agency setting
Works well in a fast-paced environment and is able to help the team prioritize and meet tight deadlines
Proficiency in script writing for video and static ads
Top-notch project management skills — excellent organization, communication, flexibility and attention to detail
Experience working with union crews is a plus
Superior project and time management capabilities within a fast paced, high productivity environment
Experience leading the pre-production, production, and post-production processes for various types of creative projects
Experience editing digital videos from start to finish a plus
This position will be fully remote. Due to the nature of political work, there will be expected evening and weekend hours especially leading up to November 2024. This is a cycle position that will end on November 30, 2024, with the possibility of full time based on performance and need. The salary range for the position is between $75,000 and $100,000, commensurate with experience.
